At Mantra Collective we specialize in providing a safe and welcoming space for children to experience their first ear piercing. Your child's comfort and safety are our top priorities. That's why we never use piercing guns, as they can be traumatic to the tissue and cannot be properly sterilized. Instead, we use sterile, single-use needles and implant-grade jewelry, ensuring a safe procedure and minimizing the risk of allergic reactions.
To ensure the best healing experience, we offer a follow-up check-up two months after the piercing. We believe that proper healing is just as important as the piercing itself, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Even if it’s a re-pierce and your child has unsuccessful previous piercing attempts, we will access their anatomy and advice accordingly. In most cases, they can be pierced again.
As all piercings are performed using a needle, we proceed one side at a time. Should your child feel hesitant to continue, you may always return for the second side at a later appointment when they feel ready.
We understand that getting a first piercing can be a nerve-wracking experience for both kids and parents. That's why we go the extra mile to make it as pleasant as possible. Whether it’s playing your child’s favorite music video, offering a sweet treat as a distraction, or any other little comforts, we’re here to help make the experience seamless. Importantly, if your child is not ready or willing to get pierced, we will never force the process. We strongly believe in the importance of informed consent from your child.
